Welcome to the Anchorage Research and Development Complex!

Juno Fleet Anchorage was built to act as a relay and research station during the early days of the Juno Project. As time went on the Anchorage expanded into the massive complex it is today, operating nearly 25 different stations and 8 colonized planets and moon in the Anchor Star System, The Anchorage is the largest and most secured military facility in the known galaxy. The only larger structures are the Borg Unimatrix 1 or a Dyson Sphere.

Within the Anchorage are several major centers of research and development; Anchorage Medical which has pioneered new forms of cybernetics and neural research, the Prometheus Shipyards, home of Nanolathe technology which allows for rapid manufacturing and repair using specially designed one-use nanobots that weld themselves together, and Starbase Zero Weapons Test Facility. Anchorage also hosts the Juno Fleet Academy and the Juno Fleet Marine Corps Training Facility.

Staff of Juno Fleet

After long thought and with the recent lack of posting on the Fleet sites, which has been the norm for many years, I’ve made the decision that I am leaving the Fleet for good.
Yes I know I have left the fleet before and have come back, but not this time. I just can’t bring myself to stay when it seems I’m to only one posting and trying my best to keep this place afloat when Alex is absent.
I can only do some many side stories either in single posts or joint, but when I’ve got to wait weeks for the others to post I forget where I might have been wanting the story to go. Like now it seemed we were on a roll and then nothing.
I have a general idea, but when we seem to just get to where we should ALL be posting right and left because we are climaxing the story we fall dead in the water. All due to having to wait on someone to post their part, but we’ll go weeks with nothing, no by the way I’m having to go on LOA or ELOA, we just know nothing.
I’m not singling anyone out, we all do it, but it’s seems in the last few missions this is what happens. We start slow, then all of a sudden its posting daily sometimes hourly, then stop. No posting for a week or more and no idea who is on leave or just doesn’t care.
So I’m done. I’ve always been here posting whatever, but I’m not and can’t hold this place alone. So with a heavy heart, I’m leaving. I’ll put all my characters as NPC and anyone can use them or you can write them out, but I feel this site has finally met it’s end, what crew there is just has their RL to deal with and this Fleet has become a “Once in a while place to post here and there if I think about it.”
For those of you who have me as a friend on FB and you want to unfriend me fine, I’ll understand, my emails DrakeMagellan@gmail.com and RowenaDeScott@gmail.com will remain active for a while but the M.Dakoda@gmail.com and Yorba.Jorge@gmail.com will be deleted.
I’m sorry if this will upset many of you, but then it may not cause you’ll be glad I’m not bitching about this anymore, but I’m almost 60 and it’s time to move on and start checking off the items on my bucket list, since my Cancer put a warning in my head that I’m running out of time.
Farewell my Friends. I hope we can remain friends and keep in touch now and then.

Vice Admiral Josette Garafin (Nance in RL)

After throwing everything I had at this I gave it a wild shot in the dark and IT WORKED!

That being said, I am now going to request anyone with SQL knowledge who may wish to help me maintain these sites please contact me asap at AlexDeScott@junofleet.com

Thank you all for your patience while we worked on this issue, I am sorry it took so long, but now, I am proud to say, Juno is back online!

As you all know there is change on the wind. Jules will be terminated and her reign as CinC in character will be no more. Who Alex decides as a replacement is his decision. I have a new character as a replacement Vice Admiral Josette Garafin, but her position is not 100% decided yet.

I will however still be DCINC out of character. There are changes coming hopefully for the better and we bring this site and other connected to here rebuild.

I want to see activity again and story-lines that coincide with the current misson.. side stories help build characters and future mission.

So again let's start anew with better missins, new characters and build this place once more with new members and old.

Thank you

Evening Juno Fleet:

A few weeks ago we posted in the OOC that everyone check in. If we didn't hear from you we would consider either one inactivating you or two terminating you and advancing those in your department who are still among us.

We will give you one more week to notify us if you want to remain or if we hear nothing then the actions above will be taken.

Those that will be affected are those that have not checked in, in the last 4 month or beyond.

So at this time if you have been posting and have character's you would like to see promoted, PM either myself or Alex on the position you seek to advance too.

Again we hate having to bring this up, but it's become an issue for sometime and we are heading into a new story line that I can bet is going to be active and many twists and wrenches.

We need people who want to post, to be active. Yes we know that RL comes first, and that some can only post once a week or two, but with no check ins or posting in over 4 months or more then that, to me, just proves you no longer care, want to participate or have just quit without notification.

So lets get back to what this site once was and get some of the other sites out of the mothballs and reactivate them again.

Thank you, to those who have stuck this out or returned to be a part of the Fleet again.

Morning Staff:

I feel as DCinC that again this issue needs to be addressed to everyone.

We have repeatedly stated that if you're going to be absent to put yourself in LOA or ELOA and when you return to take yourself out of it. We have some that are on ELOA and are posting and many who are LOA / ELOA but no indication .

This make it frustrating to others as we wait to post on a JP and cannot move forward due to other absences and we are not aware.

I also recently looked at crew activity on the Four sites I am on and well there are quite a few crew who have not been posting or logged in, in over a month or more. I with the approval of our CinC will be sending emails telling the person we will either inactivate the character or remove them.

I know I have stated this repeatedly and it works for about two weeks but I am concerned that this Fleet is dying as we have lost so many people and we don't know if its because of what was posted above or other issues, but I really would hate to see this die. So please xna we step this up and please concider others if you have to rtal a leave of absence.

Thank you.
